Trees, Trees, Trees and a DT Call

Today with have more inspiration for you for the Trees, Trees, Trees challenge and it is time for another design team call.

For us at Craft a Scene it is all about making our project into a scene.  I often start with a single image and build it into a scene by adding something in the background. Sometimes I set out to make a specific scene like something with mountains or trees.  It is always fun to expand my learning and make different types of cards.

Our design team members must enjoy making scenes with a variety of stamps and digis and have their own blog.  Occasionally we receive stamps or digis to work with or a certificate for purchasing a sponsors products as a thank you. You don't have to have a lot of experience making scenes or with blogging.  We are looking for all levels of the craft.

The DT makes two projects per month and comments on a selection of entries.  It is that simple!  We have a DT only blog where we chat back and forth and post our projects by the due date.

If you are interested in being a part of this creative team please email me with your blog name and the team will have a look. Please apply before September 30th.  The new design time will be announced with the following Sunday challenge.

Now on to our inspiration for this week.  We have another guest designer this week with her own special Trees creation.

Rene - Simply Cute

My name is Rene Bowen and I've been making cards for about seven years now.  I've been married to my college sweetheart for 11 years and we have two insanely energetic girls, Grace and Isabel.  I've always loved to create and through stamping and coloring, I'm actually able to pretend that I'm an artist!  With both girls in school for the first time, I'm finding lots of time to create!  My blog is Simply Cute (http://cardsbyrbowen.blogspot.com).

Anna-Karin - Layers of Ink

"I did an autumn scene with lots of different trees standing in a hilly landscape. All the trees were inked and stamped with Distress Markers, to get a lot of variation in colour. The sentiment I used is a favorite of mine, and so true."

Our wonderful sponsor this month, Sr. Stampalot has provided a stamp for the random winner.

The design team and I are looking forward to seeing your wonderful scenic creations.  Please enter your stamped or digi scenes that are finished projects (no ATC's or unmounted work).

You may enter up to 3 times and as many other challenges as you wish.  If you do not have a blog or account on Split Coast Stampers, then just email me a picture of the piece and I will add it to one of our posts.  Enter the challenge here!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Sunday!!
