Craft a Scene Fall Splendor - Final Week

Well here we go with the last week of our Fall Splendor challenge and I have so much to share with you.

We have a couple of very fall looking email entries:

Margaret - Yorkshire

Here’s a card I made, which I hope captures the Autumn Splendour theme, which I have also entered into Clarity’s Challenge, where the theme was Nature.  I created the background using Adirondack inks and torn paper to create the hills and then stamped the images, which are all Clarity stamps, using Versafine inks in matching colours.

The tree and the hedge are from a set called Winter trees and their Mantles, and the tree is made using two stamps, firstly the black bare tree was stamped and then the mantle was stamped over the top of the bare branches, using two different colours.  The Birch leaves along the bottom are just a small spray of leaves.  I thought they looked as though they had fallen from the tree.  Hope you agree.

We also have three lovely scenes from the talented Craft a Scene design team for your inspiration.

Okay, so this week is your last chance to make a scene that shows off the colors of fall. You may enter up to 3 times and as many other challenges as you wish. If you do not have a blog or account on Split Coast Stampers, then just email me a picture of the piece and I will add it to one of our posts.

If you are not sure what constitutes a scenic project, check out the information here.

Have fun creating!
