Use Your Favorite Technique - Week 3

This is the third of our "Use Your Favorite Technique" challenge.  We have had a few questions about what constitutes a scene and a few entries that don't really match our criteria.  Please be sure to check our rules before posting your wonderful creation. You can jump to mr. linky here.

In scenic stamping we often use specialized techniques to create our wonderful views of the world such as using a brayer to lay down color, starting with a photograph and adding stamped images, using a digi scene to build from, using glossy paper and a stylist, using chalk, and many more.  I am sure you all have your own favorite techniques and we want you to share them with us.  Please only link completed "scenes" and be sure to include an explanation of your technique in your blog post.

We have another lovely scene from our guest designer - Emma from www.thesparklyfairy.blogspot.com.

Next is inspiration from our wonderful design team members - Anna-Karin, Maggie and Sue with beautiful creations made just for you.

Anna-Karin - Layers of Ink

Maggie - Silver Crafter

Now you have a chance to make a project with your own favorite techniques. You may enter up to 3 times and as many other challenges as you wish. If you do not have a blog or account on Split Coast Stampers, then just email me a picture of the piece and I will add it to one of our posts.

If you are not sure what constitutes a scenic project, check out the information here.

Don't forget to add GDT to your link if you wish to be considered for a guest spot.

Have fun creating!

We are continuing our "Use Your Favorite Technique" challenge.  We have had a few questions about what constitutes a scene and a few entries that don't really match our criteria.  Please be sure to check our rules before posting your wonderful creation.

We have another guest designer for you this month - Emma from www.thesparklyfairy.blogspot.com.

Emma Writes - My name is Emma and I am a complete craft
addict living on the South Coast of England with my son and recently a new puppy! I have been crafting ever since I can remember but really got into it 8 years ago after the birth of my son and becoming a stay at home mum. Stamping is my passion, but I enjoy all types of cardmaking and papercraft. I love the vintage look and old ephemera too.

I am so excited to be the Guest DT member this month, although the work on here far surpasses my own!

Next is our wonderful design team member - Rachel with another beauty made for your inspiration.

Tropical Shores and Special Guest - Week 2

This is our second week of the Tropical Shores challenge and this week we have a special guest sharing her talent with us.

Hello, my name is Rachel Fisher. I'm a 44 year old mum of two young girls - Lucy who is 6 and Penny who will be 5 when this hits the blogs! I'm very happily married to Shaun who is a physics Professor and we live in the Lune Valley in Lancashire. I run - this year I'm running the great North run for Asthma UK. I do aerobics classes. I run a pack of Rainbows and chair the PTA at the girls' school. I also go into the school one morning a week to hear the children read and also run a gardening club at school. When I have time I love to craft - stamping is my passion - recently I've been doing the Chemistry 101 course by Tim Holtz and I'm loving every minute of it!

Lovely work Rachel!  And now I have a few email entries to share with you from Barb G.

This is a photoscape!

And now for the design team members for this week.....

Nancy - Crafting Passions

Maggie - Silver Crafter

Now it is your turn to shine your light on us all with your wonderful "Tropical" creations.  You may enter up to 3 times and as many challenges as you wish.  If you do not have a blog or account on Split Coast Stampers, then just email me a picture of the piece and I will add it to one of our posts.

We only want to see finished stamped or digi scenes (no ATC's or unmounted work).  If you are not sure what constitutes a scenic project, check out the information here.

Don't forget to add GDT to your link if you wish to be considered for a guest spot just like Rachel.
